Moo-hoo! The 2010 winner of the Michael L. Printz Award for excellence in young adult literature published in 2009 is Going Bovine by Libba Bray. I haven't read it yet, but I've read some wonderful reviews on Amazon, and I'm intrigued. To learn more about the author's new book, watch this brief, zany author interview.

very interesting interview-thanks for sharing this
ReplyDeleteMel, Going Bovine is the story of a teenager who gets mad cow disease--but it is supposed to be a great book and I'd like to read it, at some point. This off-beat interview is too funny ("does this cow suit make my butt look big?").
